Liza Reyes, Registered Nurse

My name is Liza and I have been nursing for 23 years with a background of mainly cardiothoracic surgery.

I have always worked in a very busy environment with heavy patient load and support available at all times. I joined HP Homecare approximately 10 years ago and this has broadened my experience even more through learning a lot about being an independent practitioner and working independently in the ‘home environment’ with different resources.

Working with our patients and their families is challenging but rewarding. I need to ensure that my decisions are in the best interest of my patient and that their family are very much involved and aligned with the care.

Being a homecare nurse can be daunting yet is most rewarding and I enjoy every minute of it!
